Vanessa "Vee" and Nic Sweet currently work and reside in Shishmaref, Alaska. They met while simultaneously attending CalArts for different animation programs, and the rest is history! They run Sleeping Fox Studio, a contract-based arts studio that has created animations, graphic design, and illustrations for such clients as Fandango, Soapnet/ "General Hospital", Summit Day Media, Hallmark, and ACE USA, and many others. 

Vanessa is most recently finished work on her film “Wild Woman” which is a 4 minute Slam-poetry animated short detailing her metamorphosis into motherhood that also implores for global acceptance of religious, ethnic, racial and cultural diversity. Check out her recent interview with KNOM !

Nic teaches full-time as a K-12 Art teacher in Shishmaref, runs a community-centric Art Club for the kids on the weekdays, and draws and creates every moment in between. He is currently in development on a children's book as well as ideating on a whole-new "CyberFunk" project which you can view on his Instagram, 14south .

Vee and Nic are also the proud parents of amazing daughters who may or may not also be Ninja-Princess-Rockstar-Dinosaurs.
